Born and raised in Cuernavaca Morelos, Chef David discovered his passion for the kitchen all thanks to his mother, who is a wonderful cook herself. He completed his Gastronomy education, and immediately went to work in restaurants, specializing in seafood and steakhouses, and hotel industry. He started working as a line cook and then was promoted to Sous Chef. At the age of 29, he made the decision to seek better opportunities and move to the United Sates. He worked at restaurants like the Pescador and Glorias Cocina Mexicana. Through his hard work and experience, an opportunity was brought to me to be the executive chef for Luxe Kitchen and Cantina, whose concept is authentic modern Mexican food. Chef’s main goal for Luxe Kitchen and Cantina is to transmit a bit of Mexico with every one of our dishes. One of his favorite and main menu items are the homemade salsas, which with each one of its ingredients and spices complement and complete our main dishes. One of his favorite Mexican restaurants include “El Animalon” in el Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico.
